is a small design studio and workshop located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our desire is to put forward an offering of smaller furniture & household items which captures the spirit of venerable design traditions, re-interpreting them usefully
and meaningfully, while still recalling old times, old ways.

The American Arts & Crafts Movement is a great inspiration,
as are the craft and guild traditions which gave rise to it, notably those of northern Europe, the United Kingdom and Japan. In drawing on these traditions, our design work will pay close attention to five considerations:

Our first offering is the Ex Libris Collection – tabletop furniture which is suitable for use in the home library, study or office. Ex Libris will eventually include several designs that relate to books and reading. Other groupings of original designs will follow.
