The Bridle Joint Frame is assembled from carefully grain-matched, quarter-sawn white oak, and joined at the corners by four bridle joints. These give a distinctive and beautiful solidity to the construction. Each joint is pegged with
a pair of square 3/8" dowels.

The frame design can be used with or without a matte board, and comes with a wooden backboard fastened with turn buttons. Because of its substantial thickness, the frame is suitable for ceramic tiles as well as graphic art.
